Terms of use
These terms apply when you visit leese.app or join the Leese early access list. By using the site you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
1. Who we are
Leese ("Leese", "we", "us", "our") operates leese.app. Leese is a product in development, based in Nigeria. You can reach us at hello@leese.app.
2. Using the site
You may use the site for lawful, personal purposes and to learn about Leese. You are responsible for the device, connection, and browser you use to access it.
We may change, suspend, or withdraw any part of the site at any time. We do not guarantee that the site will be available without interruption, or that it will be free of errors.
3. Early access and the pilot
The site lets you ask to join an early access list for a private pilot in Lagos. Joining the list:
- does not create an account and does not guarantee access;
- does not create a contract, a tenancy, or an agency relationship;
- does not promise that any home, agent, or listing will be available.
We may invite people in small groups, and we may change or end the pilot at any time. If you are invited, separate terms may apply to the pilot product, and we will show them to you before you use it.
4. Content and intellectual property
The site, including its text, design, illustrations, code, and the Leese name and marks, belongs to us or our licensors and is protected by law. You may view and share links to the site. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or use our content for commercial purposes without our written permission.
Feedback you send us is voluntary. You give us permission to use it to improve Leese, without any obligation to pay you or credit you.
5. Acceptable use
You must not:
- use the site in a way that breaks any law or regulation;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site, its servers, or any related system;
- submit false information, or another person's email address without their permission;
- send spam, malware, or automated traffic that interferes with the site;
- scrape or copy the site at scale, or use it to build a competing product;
- do anything that harms other visitors or the integrity of the site.
If you break these rules, we may block your access and, where appropriate, report the matter to the relevant authorities.
6. Third-party links and services
The site loads fonts and a 3D library from third-party providers, and links to social networks. Those services have their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for their content or practices.
7. Availability and changes
We may update, redesign, or remove parts of the site. We may also update these terms. When we do, we will change the effective date above. If a change is material, we will take reasonable steps to make it clear on the site. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
8. Disclaimers
The site is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we make no warranties, express or implied, about the site, including that it is accurate, complete, secure, or fit for a particular purpose.
Nothing on the site is legal, financial, or property advice. Information about the Lagos housing market is for general context only. Always verify a home, a landlord, or an agent before paying money or signing anything.
9. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, Leese is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss, or for loss of data, income, or opportunity, arising from your use of the site. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for fraud.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and the courts of Nigeria have jurisdiction over any dispute. If you access the site from another country, you are responsible for following your local laws.
